When children are confident in their academic skills, they are able to transition into a classroom environment with ease. Our program encourages children to perform to the best of their ability through 'fun' learning (music, stories, laughter). Ultimately, our program is designed to assist each child with the following skills:
Kindergarten Readiness Classes - Monday-Thursday
Enrichment Class for ages 4-6 - Monday-Thursday

The Building Blocks Kindergarten Readiness Program is a unique program developed and taught by Early Childhood Development specialist Mary Riddle. Mary earned her B.A. in Early Childhood Studies from California State University East Bay (Hayward). She has been teaching children of all ages for more than 20 years and has run a daycare/preschool program from her home for 11 years. Her students have all transitioned successfully into elementary school. Mary has worked with children of all levels of abilities: gifted with very high IQs to those with special needs. She is able to mold her classes to fit the needs of the students. This program has been created in response to her philosophy and experiences.
